Apartment facilities are required by City ordinance to use City-provided trash collection service.

The City of Carrollton has contracted with Republic Services for this service.  Click here for rate information.

The term "apartment" is based on a City ordinance definition of "dwelling unit" and includes some assisted residences. 

The City of Carrollton does not provide trash or recycling collection services to commercial customers.

Solid Waste Collection

Any business that wishes to operate as a solid waste hauler within the city must obtain a Solid Waste Collection Permit.

Fee:  The annual franchise fee is an amount equal to 7.5% of the gross receipts relating to all revenues collected via the waste collection service.

Renewal and Revocation: Permits are subject to renewal periodically, and failing to comply with applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations may result in suspension or revocation of the permit.
