Axberg graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in political science and history. 

Councilmember Chris Axberg has more than 20 years of experience in digital marketing, multimedia and e-commerce. He’s worked in several locations around the world such as Amsterdam, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, specializing in developing new businesses and revenue for global publishers, advertisers and international partners.

Axberg has worked at the executive level since 2001 with notable companies such as YAHOO!, Reader’s Digest, McAfee & Associates and The South China Morning Post. He’s been responsible for marketing teams, business development, strategy, and digital operations, as well as execution of content, monetization and development.

He has a rich background working for large multinational organizations, and currently is the Senior Director of Digital Marketing at Concentra headquarters in Addison, Texas.  He is currently responsible for all digital marketing teams, business development and strategy over 600 clinical centers across the US.
