Axberg graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in political science and history. 

Councilmember Christopher Axberg has more than 25 years of experience in digital marketing, multimedia, and e-commerce. He has worked in several locations around the world, including Amsterdam, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom, specializing in developing new businesses and driving revenue for global publishers, advertisers, and international partners.

Axberg has held executive-level roles since 2001 with notable companies such as Yahoo!, Reader’s Digest, McAfee, Concentra Urgent Care, and the South China Morning Post. Throughout his career, he has led marketing teams, business development initiatives, corporate strategy, and digital operations, with a strong focus on content execution, monetization, and scalable growth.

Currently, Axberg is the Vice President of Marketing at Kerix Healthcare Corporation, headquartered in Austin, Texas, and a member of the executive leadership team. In this role, he leads marketing strategy, corporate communications, and media initiatives, helping drive organizational growth and brand positioning in the direct primary and concierge care sector.
