Filing a Complaint

Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination or that their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) have been violated may file a complaint with the City Secretary. The information will be routed to the appropriate contact person for review and response, as applicable.

Title VI

The City of Carrollton, as a recipient of Federal financial assistance and under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes, ensures that no person shall on the grounds of race, income status, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination or retaliation under any federally or non-federally funded City programs or activities administered by the City or its contractors.

Transportation Complaints

Complaints related to transportation will be forwarded to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for investigation within 10 calendar days of receipt.

Any person who feels he or she has been discriminated against can use the form below to file a complaint. All complaints must be in writing and may be sent via email to citysecr@cityofcarrollton.com or sent by mail to the following address:
