How to Apply for an Alcohol Permit

1.  Submit a Complete TABC Application
    Provide a fully completed TABC application to the City Secretary's Office. The City Secretary's Office facilitates the process by certifying the application.

2.  Zoning and Site Distance Verification
   The City's Planning & Zoning department will check zoning compliance and ensure your business location meets distance requirements as per City ordinances.

3.  Approval Process
   After verification, the City Secretary will either approve and certify your application or deny it based on compliance with regulations.

4. Pay Fees and Collect Certification

   • Permit fees are due when you pick up your certified TABC packet.
     
     
   • Fees are based on TABC guidelines and collected every two years.
     
     

5.  Receive Finalized Application

   The City Secretary’s Office will sign, seal, and return your certified application. The business or individual must then submit the application to the County (Dallas, Denton, or Collin) and the Texas Comptroller for further approval before the TABC issues the final permit.
