Bring the whole family to the FREE third annual Carrollton Health & Safety Fairhighlighting the services provided by Carrollton’s Fire Rescue (CFR), Police (CPD), and Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Departments.

There will be multiple scheduled attractions including the Ninja Nation Mobile Obstacle Course, bounce houses, carnival games, Public Safety demonstrations suitable for all ages, CPR/AED training, and more!

Community health and human services partners will operate informational booths and limited on-site medical services will be provided. FREE lunch options will also be available!

The Health & Safety Fair is proud to partner with Kacie's Run, now in its 26th year! Check-in begins at 7 a.m., and the 1-mile Family Fun Run and 5K will begin inside Standridge Stadium at 8:30 am. Participants are encouraged to join us at the Health & Safety Fair at the conclusion of their run! Sign up for the race here!

10:30 AM: Vehicle Extrication demonstration by Carrollton Fire Rescue

11 AM: Air Ambulance Helicopter Landing

11:30 PM: VIP Address

12 PM: High Angle Technical Rescue demonstration by CFR

12:30 PM: Raffle Drawing (Tickets for entry will be given to participants in the Hands-Only CPR Training)

1 PM: Air Ambulance Take-Off & Close of the Event

Kacie's Run

Kacie's Run, now in its 26th year, honors the memory of Kacie Brekhus, a former CFBISD student and graduate of R.L. Turner High School who was passionate about the Special Olympics. Proceeds from Kacie's Run benefit the CFBISD All Stars Special Olympics team, ensuring Special Education students can participate in annual events at no cost. Tragically, Kacie died in a vehicular accident in 2003 while attending the University of Texas at Austin. Through the efforts of Kacie's generous parents and CFBISD, this annual event has made a lasting impact in the community. The 1-mile Family Fun Run will begin at 8:30 am, and the 5K will begin at 9 a.m. inside Standridge Stadium.

CPR/AED Training

Demonstrations

CFR will be conducting a vehicle extrication demonstration at 10 AM and a high angle rescue demonstration off the top of Standridge Stadium at 11 AM.
CPD will have representatives and vehicles from multiple divisions.
The Office of Emergency Management will display their CDRA Shelter Trailer and a public information booth.
Carrollton Public Works will have heavy equipment on display and department leadership available to discuss available job opportunities within Public Works.
Personnel from these departments will be available to provide information and answer questions about the services they provide to the City of Carrollton.
