Donations Needed

  • Help Dallas County: Connect first responders and healthcare workers connect with critical resources. 
  • Texas COVID Relief Fund: OneStar Foundation has been designated by the State of Texas to raise and distribute funds to eligible organizations working on the ground to support the economic recovery of Texas communities impacted by the coronavirus. 
 

Metrocrest Services and community healthcare partners including first responders, hospitals, and nursing facilities, are in critical need of specific items. Donations of PPE (personal protective equipment), as well as nonperishable food, goods, and money are needed. Our partner, Metrocrest Services, will be the drop off location for all items and the City of Carrollton will assist with distribution. 

 

Needed medical use items include:

  • Gloves (powder-free Nitrile) – especially L and XL
  • Masks – anti-fog surgical masks
  • Masks – N95 (3M model 1860 or 1870+) or equivalent, Industrial grade will be accepted
  • Eyewear/Goggles/Fluid Shields/Face Shields – reusable or disposable will be accepted
  • Isolation Gowns – disposable or new reusable gowns
  • Bouffant Caps – head covers
  • Disposable Thermometer Covers – ThermoScan Pro 6000 and SureTemp 690 brand thermometers
  • PAPR or CAPR hoods and disposable supplies
  • Paper sacks – lunch size

If you don’t have anything to donate, you can always contact your nail/hair salon, tattoo parlor, estheticians, spa, dental office, or any other place of business you support that usually has hygiene masks and aren’t using them due to their business being closed due to COVID-19. Ask if they would like to donate their gloves, masks (surgical and/or N95), eye protection, and gowns to a local hospital, nursing facility, or first responders via the Metrocrest dropoff.

Pantry needs include nonperishable (aka no refrigeration) items such as:

  • Canned soup
  • Canned beans
  • Canned chicken
  • Canned tuna
  • Spaghetti pasta
  • Snacks
  • Laundry detergent
  • Baby wipes 
  • Baking items (cooking oils, baking mixes, flour, and sugar)

Monetary support is also accepted.
